The future of Travis Kelce in the NFL is now reportedly a major topic this offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs giving the star tight end until the date of March 14 to decide if he will play next season or not, reported Yahoo Sports.
According to Yahoo Sports, Travis Kelce who will be 36 this very year has now only one year left on his contract and is eventually due a $12.5 million roster bonus on the month of March. The Kansas City Chiefs who are currently projected to have $5.38 million in their salary cap space for the year 2025 actually need to create more room before NFL free agency begins on the month of March.
In spite of having a quite productive season with 97 receptions, Travis Kelce’s 823 receiving yards, 8.5 yards per catch and three touchdowns were actually career lows. In the Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles, he had four receptions for 39 yards and his current contract now includes a $34.2 million extension that ends next season, asserted Yahoo Sports.

On his ‘New Heights’ podcast, Travis Kelce had genuinely said that he would take time before deciding on the next season while the Kansas City Chiefs are now asking Travis Kelce to decide his 2025 plans within a month.
