At 13, DJ Daniel has been honored with the badge of a United States Secret Service agent by President Donald Trump, following his battle with brain cancer.

At just 13 years old, DJ Daniel has been given a rare honor—an official badge as a United States Secret Service agent.
US President Donald Trump, in a moment that captured the hearts of many, personally directed Sean Curran, the director of the US Secret Service, to make Daniel an agent during his address to Congress.
The gesture was met with enthusiastic applause, as lawmakers in attendance chanted “DJ! DJ!” in celebration of the young boy’s journey.
“We’re going to do you the biggest honour of them all”, Trump tells Daniel. “I am asking our Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially make you (Daniel) an agent of the United States Secret Service,” Trump announced..
Daniel was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018 and given a prognosis of five months to live.
Alongside his father, he has visited multiple law enforcement agencies, earning honorary recognition from several police departments that have embraced him as one of their own.
Over the past six years, he has been honored multiple times as an honorary police officer by various law enforcement agencies.
Trump’s announcement elevated Daniel’s long-standing dream of serving in law enforcement. Curran handed the badge to Daniel, making him an official part of the Secret Service in an honorary capacity.
The event also featured another announcement—Trump confirmed that high school senior Jason Hartley had been accepted into the US Military Academy at West Point.
Daniel was seen congratulating Hartley with a high five.
